Dear Mary and family, we are sadden by the passing of our dear friend and classmate. We shared many memories from childhood and our days at JCSU. I am so glad we had an opportunity to visit and that is a memory I can cherish. May God comfort you with the promise of eternal life for those who die in Christ.

I am so sorry for your loss of your husband, your father and your grandfather, Mr. Dan Lowry. We worked together in the Job Corps Program on special projects and have stayed in touch for years ever since. He was my Mentor and my friend. I will miss him so much. I will be mailing cards to you, Mrs. Lowry at your home address this week. God's blessing to each of you as you get through this difficult time.
Sincerely, Gwen Antoine

To the Lowery family and friends. Since 2015, Dan would send us humor and his view on important issues of the day. I really miss hearing from him. During a time when many were not being employed in significant administrative positions with the Department of Labor- Job Corps, Dan was responsible for assisting me to fill one of the positions in Chicago. I was there for 15 year and benefited significantly from the experience all due to Dan intervention. Thank you Dan. I am aware he helped many more in significant economic ways. His work is not yet done…the "Spirit In the Sky" will need assistance in screening in qualified applicants…Dan, I know you will assist him……….
