Wilson Johnson Obituary
Mr. Wilson Junior Johnson, 59, of 3940 Hord Road, Sharon, SC passed away December 13, 2021 at home, following a brief illness. He was born October 21, 1962 to Annie Johnson Roberts, and raised by Annie and the late James R. Roberts.
He attended York County Public Schools, and joined Ebenezer AME Zion Church at an early age. He enjoyed doing odd jobs, such as washing cars, landscaping, and fixing things.
Wilson was a jokester and found joy in laughing and making others laugh. He enjoyed having a good time with family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Roberts, and sister, Dorothy Johnson Spratt.
Surviving to cherish fond memories are his mother, Annie Lois Roberts of the home; four sisters, Kathy Roberts of McConnells, SC, Angela Roberts Orr (Lamar) of York, SC, Annie M. Roberts (Roger) of Rock Hill, SC, and Liza Howell of Hickory Grove, SC; one brother, Arizona Reid, Jr.; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Friday, December 17, 2021 at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 1:00 prior to the service and other times at the home.
Burial will follow at Ebenezer AME Zion Church Cemetery in Smyrna, SC.
