Wilma Lucinda (Johnson) Wilson, 91, of 5788 Oakridge Road, Lake Wylie, SC passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at home. Born April 3, 1931 in York County, SC, she was a daughter of the late William and Lottie Bell Lathan Johnson. She is the widow of the late Thomas Marvin Wilson.
A native of York County, Mrs. Wilson was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bowling Green, SC.
Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her brother, James Johnson; her sons: Marvin L. Wilson, Julius L. Wilson, Willie M. Wilson, and Jerry M. Wilson; and her daughter, Linda B. Wilson.
Surviving to cherish fond memories are her sons: William T. Wilson of Chicago, IL, John C. Wilson of Atlanta, GA, and Jimmy A. Wilson (Geneva) of Lake Wylie, SC; her daughters: Mary H. Wilson of the home, Betty Wilson Baker (Meredith) of Charlotte, NC and Debra M. Wilson of Belmont, NC; one brother, Robert Lee Johnson (Jackie) of Gastonia, NC; three sisters, Thelma Williams (Wayne), Annie Knox, and Mary Rivers (Leon) all of Charlotte, NC; one aunt, Minnie Kendrick of Clover, SC; two daughters-in-law, Doris Wilson of Lake Wylie, SC and Cynthia Wilson of New Jersey; her special cousins and caregivers: Flossie Fox, Mary Neely, Valorie Johnson, and Flora Johnson; a special cousin, Mary Barber of Gastonia, NC; a very special friend, Frances "Tee" Kendrick; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
