Viola Dobbins

Viola Dobbins fell asleep in death on January 23rd, 2022. She was a woman who loved her family very much. Viola was also a caretaker who liked to take care of everyone by feeding them at gatherings and family get-togethers. Everyone always raved about her cooking. She liked taking pictures of everyone it didn’t matter whether you were at a wedding, home, family gathering, or the Kingdom Hall. She captured thousands of memories with her pictures. She kept up with friends and family by phone even during her illness.

Viola also loved her God Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ; she would have been in the ministry every day if she could. She rarely missed a meeting and was a loyal servant of Jehovah for 45 years. Viola was baptized in June 1976 and graduated from Pioneer School in 2011 and 2016. Viola also had a close relationship with her brothers and sisters who meant the world to her. Family and her service to God were her priorities.

Viola leaves behind 6 children: Viola Marie Crowley of Plainfield NJ, Cynthia D Pierre of West Orange NJ, Sarah L Wilson of Charlotte NC, Dennis J Wilson of Plainfield NJ, Joyce P Wilson, and Vivian A Wilson also of Charlotte NC; 26 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren. A brother and sister, Golden Harris of Mt. Rainier, Maryland, and Helen Harris Good of York, SC. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
