Steven Gray Lawson

Steven Gray Lawson, of McConnells, SC, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2023 at Atrium Health-Main in Charlotte, NC.

Steve loved his family and liked to fish and hunt.  He was also a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife, Jo Anne Lawson; children: Jennifer Holbrooks (Josh), Destiny Hampton, Brittany Thrift (Michael), Charley Lawson, and Mary Katherine Talbert (Justin); a sister, Angela Lawson (Robert) and brother, Tim Lawson.  He is also survived by four grandchildren, Addison Holbrooks, Isaac Holbrooks, Cameron Holbrooks, and Zoey Talbert.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents, Charley and Mary Lawson.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Eastview Baptist Church at 3:30 pm, with Pastor Rick Martin officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:00 pm, prior to the service. *** The family respectfully requests that floral arrangements NOT be donated to the service. ***
