Sandra K Brown-Dorsey

Mrs. Sandra Kay Brown-Dorsey, 50, of 320 Saturn Lane, Clover, SC, transitioned to her Heavenly home on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at home. Born January 14, 1970 in Gastonia, NC, she was a daughter of the late Jerry, Sr. and Doris Sherer Brown.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, graveside on Thursday, January 14th at Cedar Grove Church Cemetery in York, SC. Burial will immediately follow the service. 

Though the immediate family will not be receiving friends, a walk-thru for other family and friends will be held from 5-7 pm, Wednesday, January 13th at the funeral home. 

She was educated in York County Schools, and graduated from Clover High School in 1988. Sandra then went on to further her education at the Southern College of Technology in Computer Programming in Gastonia, NC. She worked for many years at HomeLite, Converse, and Clover School District until her health failed.

A wonderful mother, sister, aunt, wife, and friend, Sandra was always on the phone checking on her family and many friends. A true computer whiz, she could always be found posting songs from YouTube on the computer, playing games on her phone, and texting her family.

In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her brother, John “JP” Sherer.

She leaves to cherish loving memories her son, Kamari; her nephews/sons: Jerrod, J’Jerrious, Dwayne, and Joseph; her siblings, Maggie (Hubert), Jerry (Columbus “Apple”), Darlene (Antawn), and Brandon; a special sister-in-law, Kimberly Brown; special nieces: QuaShanda, Erica, Jasmine B., April, Kashondra, and Jasmine D.; as well as a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
