Patrick D Harvell, Sr.

Mr. Patrick Darwin Harvell, Sr., 62, of York, SC, passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. Born October 4, 1962 in York, he was a son of the late Clyde Harvell and Sarah Gregory Harvell. Beloved father, son, brother, uncle, father-in-law, and friend to many. He will be remembered by many for his love for his family, strong work ethic, kindness and willingness to help others.

Patrick (Pat) was a caregiver for his parents, always seeing to their needs until they passed. He didn’t have much time for any hobbies, but he loved farming, playing the guitar, fishing and playing games with his family, especially his grandchildren. He taught us all so much and shared his knowledge freely. Pat will be sorely missed--This world has lost a great man, and heaven gained the sweetest Angel.

Memorial services will be 3:00 pm, Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Church of the Nazarene, 182 Pinckney Street, Chester, SC.

Mr. Harvell is survived by four children: April Kahle (Ben) of York, SC, Danielle Travis (Jeff) of Clover, SC, Tiffany Hawkins (Kyle) of Clover, and Patrick Harvell, Jr. of York, SC; a sister, Annette Mooney (Mike) of Bolivia, NC; a longtime girlfriend, Cindy Gunn of Clover, SC; and his grandchildren: Jacob Harvell, Kaylie Kahle, Shannon Kahle, Nathan Moore, Hawk Howard, McKenna Travis, Kaleb Hawkins, Colten Hawkins, and Patrick Darwin Harvell, III.
