Nathaniel Winston

Funeral services will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, January 16, 2022 at the funeral home chapel, with Rev. Elder Marion Wilson presiding. Services will be live streamed from the funeral home Facebook page: www.facebook.com/WrightFH1914.  

Mr. Nathaniel Winston, son of the late Christobell Medley and Terry W Winston, was born November 26, 1936 in East Gulf, West Virginia. He answered the Master's call on Janurary 8, 2022.
 

Nathaniel was raised in Beckley West Virginia. He left Beckley, West Virginia at the age of 15 to pursue work in Brooklyn, NY.  He worked for C-Town Supermarket for 45 years until Covid forced him to retire at the age of 83. Nat was a dedicated, trusted, and hardworking man. He tried to help everyone who came in his path. Nat enjoyed life and always spoke to everyone, and he could keep a conversation. He had a heart as big as him. To all who knew him, knows he will be greatly missed. 

Nat was the youngest of 5 siblings.  He is preceded in death by his oldest brothers & sisters: Wiley Winston, Terry Winston Jr, and Bernard Winston, Beatrice Winston, and Oretha Winston-Gibson; daughter, Karen Winston; and two sons, Kevin Winston and Nathaniel Perkins.

Left to cherish his memories his daughters, Nyejah Rodriguez, Jackie Perkins, and Tyesha Watson. His son, Eric Owens. His Grandchildren, Nazahah Fitzgerald, Nalajah Fitzgerald, Empress Fitzgerald, Debron Rodiguez, Radaysia Manning, Ebony Madison-Givens, Jacqueline Perkins, Diane Perkins, Jacobi Owens, Ericka Owens, Tatyana Watson, Arianna Watson, & Ayanna Watson. His Son-in-Law, Rodney Manning; and a host of Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.
