Myron G Sharps

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, March 21, 2026 at O'Zion AME Zion Church in Charlotte, NC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.

Myron Grady Sharps was born on November 16, 1990, in Charlotte, North Carolina, and from the very beginning he carried a light that touched everyone around him. A proud Presbyterian Baby, Myron was a lifelong member of the AME Zion Churches, giving his life to Christ at an early age with Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church in York, SC and currently serving at O'Zion AME Zion Church in Charlotte, NC. He grew up grounded in faith and community.

A true Charlotte native, Myron attended South Mecklenburg High School before later finding great pride in his work with Sarah Lathan Enterprises as an Amazon Prime driver, where he built lasting friendships and was often recognized for his dedication. Myron’s calm spirit, endless humor, and unwavering positivity made him unforgettable—he had a gift for brightening any room and a laugh that stayed with you.

A devoted Celtics and Panthers fan, a loyal friend, and a gentle soul, he lived with compassion, humility, and wisdom far beyond his years. Though his earthly journey ended on March 8, 2026, his joy, his kindness, and the love he shared will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
