Ms. MeLisa (Montgomery) Dover, 51, of 3245 McFarland Road, York, SC passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 in Grover, NC. Born November 27, 1968 in Rock Hill, SC, she was a daughter of Terry Hawkins Houser and the late Steven Paul Montgomery.  

Almighty God in His Wisdom and Mercy called unto Himself to give wings to our sister in Christ MeLisa “Lisa” Lena’ Montgomery Dover on March 8, 2020.

Lisa was born November 27, 1968 in Rock Hill, SC to Terry Hawkins Houser and the late Steven Paul Montgomery.

                Lisa was a member and baptized at Bethany Baptist Church in Grover, NC.  She loved her church and loved working at many church activities.  Her love for animals led her to help and keep many animals to nurse them back to health or find a forever home.

She loved her mother, daughters, and grandchildren.  She worked many jobs as a cook, waitress or greeter before becoming disabled.  She loved to draw and make crafts as well, and she also loved to sing.

Lisa, in addition to her father, is preceded in death by her son, Tony Preston Westmoreland.

Surviving to cherish fond memories of Lisa are her daughters, Amy Nicole Dover and Amanda Jean Dover; four grandchildren: Hayden Riley King, Caleb Gage Gilfillan, Colby Elec Eakin and Carter Bentley Eakin; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
