Marilyn (Liester) Coley

Mrs. Marilyn Liester Coley, 67, of Rock Hill, SC went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Sunday, November 14, 2021.

A celebration of her life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 17 at Calvary Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC with Pastors Reggie Hopkins and Roger Brown officiating.

She was born to the late AJ and Ruth Liester, April 17, 1954, in Rock Hill, SC. She graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1972 and married the late Johnny Coley, Jr. later that same year.

She was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church serving in various roles throughout the children’s ministry.

She is survived by her two sons, Jonathan Coley (Chasity) of Rock Hill, SC and Joshua Coley (Kelly) of Mt. Holly, NC; two grandchildren, Mayci-Lyn and Jonah; two brothers, Don Liester (Evelyn) of Columbia, SC and Norman Liester (Elaine) of Milledgeville, GA; and countless nieces, nephews and Godchildren.
