Lisa Annette Thomas

Lisa Annette Thomas, 55, of Gastonia, NC went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC. She was a strong woman, who battled COVID for over 6 months, fighting to the end.
 

Lisa was born May 2, 1966, in Gastonia to James and Alice Thomas.
 

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC, with Rev. Terrence Jones officiating. Burial will immediately follow the services.
 

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, March 18th at Wright Funeral Home.
 

Lisa was a member of Liberty Hill AME Zion church where she was baptized at a young age. She was a 1984 graduate of Ashbrook High school and a 1994 honor graduate of ECPI University. Lisa was employed at the engineering firm, CH2M Hill, for 20 years as a facilities manager and was currently employed by the engineering consulting firm, Hazen & Sawyer for the last 6 1/2 years.
 

Lisa enjoyed reading, playing video games, listening to music and spending time with family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and loved spreading joy with her infectious laugh that would light up the room andwas always the "life of the party". Lisa was the best babysitter for all of her nieces and nephews and her "third" child, "road dog", “toot-toot”, her loving grandson, Zaiden.
 

Lisa is preceded in death by her brother, Ardy Thomas and sister, Shirley Dunlap.
 

Those left to cherish her memories include her children Isaac Bell IV of Washington, DC, Jasmine Cierra Bell of Gastonia, NC; grandson Zaiden Nassir Mosely of Gastonia, NC; children's father Isaac Bell III of Gastonia, NC; parents, James and Alice Thomas of Gastonia, NC; brother James Wylie "Red" (Teresa) Thomas of Clover, SC; sisters Marilyn (Boyce) Friday of Pineville, NC, Ellen (Darrell) Witherspoon of Lancaster, SC, Gail (Reginald) Hoyle of Lawndale, NC, Clara Setzer of Dallas, NC, Anna Maria (Sidney) Jefferson of Norfolk, VA; children's godfather Darrell Scott Sadler of Linden, NJ; and special friend Tracey Carter of Lake Wylie, SC. Lisa also leaves to cherish her memory, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other loving relatives and caring friends.
