Funeral services will be 11:00 am, Saturday, January 29, 2022 at Wright Funeral Home in York, SC. Services will also be live-streamed from the funeral home's Facebook page: www.facebook.com/WrightFH1914

Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, SC.

Ms. Neely may be viewed from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, January 28th at the funeral home.

Lillie Selastine Neely transitioned into eternal rest on January 21, 2022 at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, SC. She was born in Sharon, SC to the late Versie Page Currence and Jessie Neely.

She is preceded in death by two brothers, Ulysses L. Currence and Mozel Neely, and two sisters, Hattie Bankhead and Versie Mildred Burris.

Selastine accepted Christ into her life at an early age and united with Pleasant Grove Presbyterian Church, serving faithfully as her health permitted. She attended York County public schools Rainey Town, Sharon Grove, and Jefferson High.

Selastine was a kind, caring, and compassionate daughter, mother, and sister. That love was extended to her many nieces, nephews, in-laws, and other relatives. Her big heart and winning personality endeared her to her several friends and acquaintances, many of whom provided support and assistance in times of need.

The apple of her eye and great love of her life was her beloved daughter, Melissa Ann Neely, who survives her. Also surviving her are four sisters, Elma Clancy (Bryant) of Ballwin, MO, Jessie
Mae McCoy (Alexander) of York, SC, Margaret Davis of Charlotte, NC, and Joyce Wright (James) of Columbia, SC; one brother, James Neely (Delilah) of Baltimore, MD; two nephews raised in the family home as brothers, Tony Neely (Jackie) of Pineville, NC and Bradford Neely (Izola) of Nashville, TN; a beloved sister-in-law, Sarah Neely of York, SC; a special niece, Vermel “Penny”
Moore; a special great-niece, Brachelle Neely-Moss of Rock Hill, SC; a dear friend and confidant, Yvonne Simpson of York, SC; and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
