Kenneth Williams, Jr. Obituary

Memorial services for Kenneth "Bro" Williams will be held Saturday, May 27th from 12-1 pm at Peoples Church, 1010 Groves Street, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.  There will be a balloon release immediately following at 202 Branchwood Circle, Kings Mountain, NC.

Mr. Kenneth “Bro” Williams, Jr., 42, of 202 Branchwood Circle, Kings Mountain, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 19, 2023.  Born December 31, 1980 in Kings Mountain, he was the son of Rutha (Reid) Williams and the late Kenneth Williams, Sr.

Bro, as he was affectionately known, attended Kings Mountain High School. A colorful character, he was a loving son, brother and father, and a friend to the community.

Bro enjoyed life—especially fishing, going with his father and friends, and to the fishing rodeos as a child with his aunt. He also just enjoyed being around his family and friends, hanging out. You could always find him smiling or talking junk at a cookout or card night.

Surviving to cherish loving memories of Bro are his mother, Rutha L. Williams of the home; his sister, Misty Williams Vernon (Travis) of Bessemer City, NC; his sons, Kenneth Williams, III, Kentayvious Williams, Kendrick Williams all of Kings Mountain, NC, and bonus son, Darius Houser of Gaffney, SC; a special companion, Jennifer Seay; four granddaughters, Kye Webber, Kabella Russell, Sienna Williams, and Kensley Williams; four nieces, Dashielle, Teniyah, Destiny, and Jasmine, and nephew, Tamaurice; two great-nieces; special friends: Noah, Paul, Mack, Landon and Benji; His Ebenezer Crew; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
