Kenneth Williams Obituary

Kenneth Williams, 64, was born on September 30,1956 to Harvey R. Williams and Senora Hughes Williams. He transitioned from this life to be with the Lord at his home on August 26,2021.

Kenneth is a graduate of Kings Mountain High School in North Carolina. He was a jack of all trades and would help anyone if he could. There wasn’t really a limit to the things he could fix or the things he could do. He could build a house, fix a washing machine, or plant a garden and everything or anything in between.

He worked in supervision in manufacturing for over 20 years until he retired to become owner/operator of Williams Used Appliance and co-owner of W&W Brushwork for over 15 years. He was also employed at Preferred Finishing Inc.

He is preceded in death by siblings Janice Hughes, David Williams, Joseph Williams, Harvey Williams, and special cousin/ best friend Clarence Alexander. 

Left to cherish his memories are his former wife Rutha Williams, His daughter, Misty Williams Vernon (Travis) and son, Kenneth Williams Jr. He also shared many special moments with his siblings: sisters, Sandra Nixon (Butch) and Racheal Williams. Brothers, Thomas Williams (Mary), Herbert Williams, Wayne Williams and special cousin Denorris Wilson.

Fond memories will also be cherished by his grandchildren: Dashielle, KJ, Tamaurice, Kentayvious, Teniyah, Jasmine, Destiny, Kennedy, Tylan and Kendrick along with 5 great grandchildren; eight sisters-in-law; seven brothers-in-law; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends will miss his presence.

Funeral services will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, September 4, 2021 at People's Baptist Church, 1010 Grove Street, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
