Jean Elizabeth (Bankhead) Taylor

Mrs. Jean Elizabeth Bankhead Taylor, of Indian Trail, NC, and formerly of Hickory Grove, SC, departed this life Friday, December 4, 2020.

Today we gather here, remembering Jean Elizabeth Bankhead Taylor born August 17, 1952, in Hickory Grove SC, a God-fearing woman, daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, nurturer, teacher and a friend to many.  She gave herself to those she loved most without thought  or hesitation, regardless to her own needs. Even in her last days, she spent her time caring for her loved ones. Her light has been and will continue to be a beacon to us all.  God made her an Angel just to watch over and keep us. Let her light forever shine in our hearts and be a guide if we ever lose our way. 

Preceding her in death are her brothers, Robert Faye Bankhead, Gettys Bankhead and Reverend Dr. Arthur A. Bankhead, and her sister, Mary A. Bankhead McKinney.

She leaves her children: Alicia Renee Taylor, Frank Christopher Taylor and Stephen Anthony Taylor; fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, who will not get to meet her; three sisters, Sarah H. Bankhead Dennis, Barbara Nell Bankhead Simplice, and Joyce M. Bankhead McClurkin; one brother, Porter Lee Bankhead; and a host of other loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
