Jaivon Marques White, 26, of 2037 Gary Circle, Fort Mill, South Carolina, departed this earthly life on Sunday, September 15, 2019 at Atrium Healthcare in Pineville, North Carolina. Born on November 25, 1992 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, he was son of Walter White, Jr. and the late Velia Renee Irby.
Mr. White attended Clover High School and was a graduate of Job Corp in Morganfield, Kentucky where he studied facilities maintenance. He was employed in landscaping. Jaivon was always laid back and fun to be around. Mr. White enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and especially his nephews Tristan and Antravious. For fun, Mr. White liked to write music, record videos, and lift weights.
In addition to his loving mother, he was preceded in death by his grandmothers Ressa V. Walker, Cora B. Phillips, and Geneva P. Bigger; his grandfathers Calvin Walker, Sr and Palmer Bigger; and his aunt Shirley B. Anderson.
Mr. White leaves to cherish fond memories, his fathers, Walter White, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC and Gary L. Bigger of Lake Wylie, SC; his sisters, Erykah Bigger of Lake Wylie, SC, Shakkia Walker of Tega Cay, SC, and Alaiyai White of Charlotte, NC; his brothers, Christopher Floyd of Lake Wylie, SC, and Shannon Floyd (Latisha) of Gastonia, NC; special sisters, Tassie Serrano (D’Mario) and Connie Serrano of both Rock Hill, SC; as well as a host of other siblings; his grandparents, Walter, Sr. and Rose White of Bridgeport, CT; his aunts, Melody Taylor (Sam) of Shelby, NC, Ardella Bigger and Georgia Mae Bigger both of Lake Wylie, SC; his uncles, Kelvin Walker, Sr of York, SC and Charles Bigger of Lake Wylie, SC; a great-great uncle, Willie James Walker, Sr of Bridgeport, CT; special parents Jackqueline and Lovette Carter of Fort Mill, SC; and a host of great-aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, September 23, 2019 at Wright Funeral Home with Rev. Thelma Gordon presiding. Burial will follow at Uniondale Cemetery in York, SC.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm prior to the service.
