Jack Martin Ricks, Jr.

Mr. Jack Martin Ricks, Jr., 74, of 4196 Ricks Road, Sharon, SC passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at Upstate Community Hospice-Smith Phayer Hospice House in Landrum, SC.  Born November 30, 1945 in York, he was a son of the late Jack, Sr. and Evelyn McSwain Ricks.

A United States Coast Guard veteran, Mr. Ricks was a dedicated husband to his late wife, Rebecca "Becky" Harvell Ricks, and father and grandfather.  Jack could fix just about anything, and worked for many years as a mechanic, and doing landscaping.

Mr. Ricks is also preceded in death by a son, John Martin Ricks.

Surviving to cherish fond memories are two sons, Jason Ricks of Blacksburg, SC, and Michael Shane Ricks of Sharon, SC; a special grandson raised in the home, Jeremiah; as well as his other grandchildren:Joshua, Noah, John, Jessie, Jason, Jr., Jadyn, Cassidy, and Hunter Lee.
