Grady Chalmers Miller

Grady Miller, 82, was born in Charlotte, NC on November 14, 1941 and resided in York, SC. A US Navy Veteran, he served on active duty from 1961 to 1965, then in the Reserves until 1968.

His career spanned multiple decades in the financial operations field of banking. Grady enjoyed golf, and loved his family, his church, and his friends. 

Grady is preceded in death by his father, Grady Miller, Sr., and mother, Louise Miller.

Surviving are his wife, Amelia S. Miller; two sons, Kenneth L. Miller of Charlotte, NC and Steven B. Miller of Rock Hill, SC; one daughter, Mincie L. McNamara; four grandchildren: Taylor McNamara, Savannah Brehm, Brook Brehm, and Ethan Miller; six great-grandchildren: Casey, Eli, Michael, and Colton Brehm, Ryder and River Huckaby; two sisters, Mary (Don) Dempsey of Travelers Rest, SC and Pat Ervin of Franklin, NC; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial services with Military Honors will be 3:00 pm, Sunday, January 7, 2024 at Abiding Presence Lutheran Church, 323 N. Congress Street, York, SC.
