Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at Green Pond United Methodist Church Cemetery in Clover, SC, with Rev. Ronnie Jeffcoat officiating. Burial will follow immediately after the service.
A walk-thru will be held on Monday, November 16th from 5:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home.
Ms. Grace “Cook” Burris, 70, of 1934 S. Paraham Road, York, SC transitioned from this life Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Wayne T. Patrick Community & Hospice Care. She was born July 11, 1950 in York County, SC, a daughter of the late Robert and Emma Burris.
Ms. Burris was a member of Green Pond United Methodist Church in Clover, South Carolina. She was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. She was a patient sitter for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Mae Shirley Burris; and one brother, John Andy Burris.
Surviving are her son, Tyrone L. Burris (Vanita) of York, SC; her three grandchildren, Tymessa Burris of Clover, SC; TJ Burris and John Collins of York, SC; her two great-grandchildren, A’Raya Miller and Legend Miller of Clover, SC; her niece, Emma L. Burris (Vincent) and great niece whom she reared, Shaila Moss of Rock Hill, SC; two brothers, Robert L. Burris (Dora) of Clover, SC and James “Parker” Burris (Ann) of York, SC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
