Frederick Edwin “Eddy” Barnes

Born: July 9, 1967  

Passed Away: August 1, 2025  

Mr. Barnes was preceded in death by his father, Henry Barnes; step-mother, Marilyn Barnes; his son, Cory Neil Barnes; and several beloved grandparents.

He is survived by his mother, Sarah Leitzsey Wallace; his daughters, Jennifer Marley Truax (Doug) and Tiffany Barnes Witherington (Darreyl); his sister, Angel Barnes Clark (Robert); his step-brothers, Danny Adams (Kim) and Shawn Bagwell; three grandchildren, Mary-Lee Hyatt, Brenden Bizzell, and Kyler Witherington; and several nieces and nephews.

A service to celebrate Eddy’s life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 16th, at Faith Family Christian Center, located at 3483 Homestead Rd., Rock Hill, SC 29732. Visitation will follow the service.

Eddy will be remembered for his kind and respectful nature. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
