Brenton Edward McCaskill, born November 13, 1988 was larger than life. He loved to argue with anybody about anything, and most of the time he was right. His intelligence and Jeopardy skills are unmatched. If there was ever a time that you beat Brenton his answer was “that’s fair” that is the only way you that you knew you might have a word up on him. Brenton with his genius IQ, a gentle giant, loving, caring, argumentative, oh so effing argumentative, but with a heart of gold. This man’s heart was pure, he would do anything for anyone. Brenton was so passionate about so much its hard to narrow it down. The loves in his life are Carolina Tarheels, Tottenham Hotspurs, Atlanta Braves, politics, and his friends and family. Brenton loved music. His love of music was his soul. He loved T-Swift (he wasn’t ashamed), Eric Church, Pearl Jam, and GroupLove! Music was how he interpreted life. Brenton had a song for every moment and feeling. He was the best friend, best family member, and the best person ever to walk the earth. Everyone he ever met is a better person because Brenton entered their life.
Brenton’s earthly life ended November 30, 2020. He is preceded in death by his mother Merlene Chasteen, a very special aunt Susan Powell, brothers Tyler & Isaac Chasteen, grandparents Myrtle & DJ McCaskill, uncle Dan McCaskill and a nephew Nathaniel Powell.
