Brandon Aaron (Finnigan) Demeyere, 37, of 321 Sandifer Road, York, passed away Monday, June 12 at his home.
A true friend to the community, he found humor in everything. He was one of the friendliest people you could ever meet. He loved music and could often be found performing karaoke. He also loved shooting pool.
Brandon was well-respected at work and was a great all-around guy. He loved to brag that his initials spelled B.A.D., and he incorporated that into his life in a funny way. He truly cared for his family, especially his mother. He was always willing to help everyone, and never told anyone no.
He is preceded in death by his father, Thomas Finnigan, Jr.; his stepfather, Steven James Smith; his grandmother, Janet Mitchell; and his other loving father figure, Dozier “Wayne” Dorman.
Surviving to cherish his loving memory are his mother, Linda Stager Smith of the home; his son, Aaron James Demeyere of Rock Hill, SC; his siblings, Christopher Demeyere, Christina Finnigan-Ramey, Jennifer Finnigan, Stephanie Finnigan, Kimberly Finnigan, Ryan Finnigan, James Steven Smith, James Harper, and Keith Harper; a longtime companion and best friend, Erica Harris; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Viewing and memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the funeral home.
