Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 21, 2026 at St. Luke #2 Baptist Church in Sharon, SC with Rev. Bobby Daniels officiating, and Rev. Tabitha Gwinn-Ponder as eulogist.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:00 pm prior to the service, and other times at the home. Mrs. Roberts may be viewed from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, February 20th at the funeral home.
Mrs. Beulah Cureton Roberts, transitioned on February 11, 2026 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House in Rock Hill, SC. Born July 16, 1952 in York, SC, she was a daughter of the late Jake and Janie Belle (Sanders) Hoover, though reared by her grandparents, Daniel and Beulah Cureton.
Beulah attended Jefferson High School, and received her nurses training in York County. She worked for many years as a Certified Nurses Assistant at several nursing homes in Rock Hill, SC.
She was a longtime member at St. Luke II Missionary Baptist Church, where she sang on the Fellowship Choir.
Beulah loved reading—reading everything from the Bible to novels to the newspaper and especially completing the crossword puzzles. She also loved talking to her family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Willie James Roberts; her parents; and four sisters: Elizabeth, Dianne, Dorothy, and Dora Hoover.
Surviving to cherish loving memories are her daughter, Lisa Cureton Heath (Willie); grandson, Armoni Cureton, and granddaughter, Beyana Heath all of the home; two sisters, Marjorie H. Curry and Almetha Hoover both of Great Falls, SC; two step-sisters, Betty Crawford (Chris) of Rock Hill, SC and Dianne Wilmore of York, SC; two step-brothers, Jessie Wilmore (Delois) of York, SC and Michael Wilmore (Lisa) of Georgia; four sisters-in-law, Marjorie Anderson, Min. Bernice Roberts Meeks, and Mary Roberts all of York, SC, and Diane Gwinn (Arthur) of Sharon, SC; one brother-in-law, William “Dub” Roberts of York, SC; two best friends, Viola Clark and Joan Thomasson both of York, SC; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
