Andre Boulware Obituary

Mr. Andre "Frenchy" Philippe Boulware, 61 of Chester, SC passed away peacefully in his home on Friday, November 11th, 2022. He fought a courageous battle with cancer, never once saying “why me.”

Andre was born November 28, 1960 in Plainfield, New Jersey to the late William "Bill" and Marie Boulware. From an early age Andre had a love for Jehovah God and he valued the Bible truths he was learning. At the age of 14 in April of 1975 he dedicated his life to Jehovah and was baptized. He and his family moved to Chester SC in 1978. There were many challenges that his family of 5 children faced. Andre was the oldest, and barely an adult, but he willingly accepted the major responsibility of raising and providing for his siblings when his parents were no longer able to do so.

Family, friend, or co-worker, all who came to know Andre can agree he was a kind, generous, and hardworking man. Andre specialized in Brick Masonry and became a supervisor at Southeastern Industrial , where he worked for 25 years until he had to retire due to his health. No matter the concrete or home repair job, big or small Andre got it done punctually, accurately, and skillfully. There was no one else that had his special collection of skills. No matter who needed help, whether it was a leaking roof in a storm, a last minute school project someone procrastinated on , or just a listening ear, Andre was always there to help. Everyone knew you could count on Andre to give encouraging words, the tools to get the job done, and a big “Andre” smile.

His love for Jehovah God and his words found in the Bible was very intense and deep. He always had a scripture to share, a word of encouragement, or a bible fact on hand. He inspired so many to come and know what the Bible says about God's promises for a wonderful future for the earth.

Andre will be missed as a loving husband, caring father, a reliable big brother, devoted grandfather, trustworthy friend, but most of all he will be missed as a zealous, faithful servant of Jehovah.

In addition to his parents Bill and Marie, he is also preceded in death by his dear brother Jacques R. Boulware.

He is survived and cherished in memories by his loving wife, Audrey Boulware and their 4 children; Vondell Boulware of Chester, SC; Kevon Scarborough of Columbia, SC; Jerusha (Clifford Jr.) Moore of Rock Hill, SC and Priscilla (Terry) Burgess of Chester, SC. He's also survived by 5 grandchildren: Ramsey Boulware who lived with him, Ky’lin, Kyleigh, and Kamryn Scarborough, and Ramar Jones. He is also survived by his 3 sisters: Monique Perry of Roswell, Georgia; Robin (Jerry) McNeil of Roswell, Georgia; and Jolie (Juan) McNeil of Hanahan, South Carolina and 1 Brother, Alexander (Seleah) Graham of Rock Hill, South Carolina. And a special acknowledgement of his mother in-law Miss Eunice L. Boulware; 3 sisters-in-law; and 4 brothers-in-law and his entire extended family and friends will miss him as well.
