Allen Nathaniel Bailey

Allen Nathaniel "Oop" Bailey, 65, of 304 Regal Road, Clover, SC went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at
White Oak Manor in York, SC.  He was born February 16, 1956 in York to the late Tommy and Mary Hemphill Bailey.

Funeral services will be 12:00 noon graveside, Saturday, March 27, 2021 at Liberty Hill AME Zion Church in Lake Wylie, SC. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, March 26th at the funeral home.

Allen graduated from Clover High School, where he was a member of the school track team. He later worked for the City of Charlotte as a truck driver prior to succumbing to disability.

Preceding him in death are his parents; two sisters, Marilyn Bailey and Rosa Goode; and a brother, John David Bailey.

He leaves to celebrate his life a sister, Mary Hames (Rick) of Charlotte, NC; two brothers, Tommy Bailey (Violet) of Jacksonville, FL and Mannix Bailey of Charlotte, NC; five aunts, Martha McGill of York, SC, Mary Fewell of Clover, SC, Alberta Neely, Ruth Hemphill, and Edna Bailey all of Charlotte, NC; a special family member, Frances B. Kendrick (Tea); as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
