Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, January 28, 2022 at Wright Funeral Home in York, SC, with burial to follow at Uniondale Cemetery in York.

Mr. Adrian Demont Carothers, of 403 South Cray Street, Gastonia, NC, departed this life January 22, 2022 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia, NC.  He was born October 17, 1978 in York, SC.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Carothers, and his father, Michael Williams.

He loved to fish and participate in all outdoor sports. Most of all, he loved his family and friends. He was always the life of the party.

Adrian, better known as “Hub,” is survived by his grandmother, Maggie Williams of Belmont, NC; his two daughters, Measha Carothers and Adrial Carothers, and a stepdaughter, Dayshona Littlejohn all of Gastonia, NC; three brothers, Dionne McCullough (Erica) of Baltimore, MD, Rodney Boyd (Tye) of Kings Mountain, NC, and Emillio Burris; a Godsister, Brittany Sanders of Gastonia, NC; three uncles, Bill Sanders of Gastonia, NC, John Carothers of Lake Wylie, SC, and David Carothers of Rock Hill, SC; two special cousins, Shenita Carothers of Gastonia, NC and Sofia Carothers of Charlotte, NC; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
